the kindle cookbook.
I was looking at the home page for this book and I realized that they say it is free in the review. Its not. I also looked at how much you save. They say 20 percent. It is really 25 percent. I would not read this because it is supposed to help with the kindle. which is a comuter of sorts and computers deal a lot with numbers and percents so they obviously dont know too much about computers. so dont read this at all. It will give wrong information to you. Dont fall for it.

Get this book first after you finish reading the Kindle User Guide!
I received the Kindle as a Christmas present. It was an unexpected surprise. I didn't know much about it before I opened the package. After reading the sample for this book, I decided it would be a good first book to purchase. Am I ever glad I did! This book saved me a LOT of time. I was able to easily follow the "recipes". This is a very well written book - for people who are not real technically inclined, this is a godsend. Thank you, David!

Good information but difficult to execute step by step instructions
This was the first book I bought after firing up my new Kindle on Christmas day but while it has a lot of good information I've found it pretty useless as a help because it's only available in the Kindle format which means you can only read it on the Kindle device.. you must memorize anything you learn before "leaving" the book and attempting to do what you just read about. You can not view the book and also play and learn on the Kindle at the same time. The author should offer a PDF version to view on a PC screen to people who have purchased the book.
** updated to add:
Evidently the author is quite upset and claims in an email to me that my review has hurt his sales. If there is a chapter as he states in his comment on printing it must be far enough in there that I never got to it before I stopped reading out of frustration.
As I stated before, it's good info but I simply could not execute it without leaving the book and therefore gave up on the book. To me it was not worth my $4.
How great would this have been if instead of this I could have updated this review to add what a helpful person the author was in providing a solution... so I could have encouraged you to buy.
