White mold on your jerky?
I ordered Mr. Z jerky when they were on clearance sale.
I received my package today and started to eating.
Taste was not so good and I checked the expiration date.
Expiration date was JAN/25/2009.
I was 3/4 way done with my first package, and found a piece of jerky covered with WHITE MOLD!
I was very shocked, and immediately started to search google for any health problem. I feel sick or feeling sick I don't know.
This is so disappointing.

Mr. Salt !!
Tried Mr. Z due to the statement on the packaging that it is "grass fed" beef . Grass fed is a better product than grain fed for many reasons - and perhaps Mr. Z should lable it's jerky 100% grass fed if it is indeed 100% grass fed as some sellers will use "grass fed" to endorse products that contain beef that is at some point grass fed and at other times grain fed , but my objection to the Mr. Z jerky is the fact that they market a healthy low fat , low carb , high protein product and then salt it up to an unhealthy level of 570 mg per serving . I love salt and spice up everything I can with salt - but this product is much too salty . Any flavor that this jerky may have is lost - all you can taste is salt and more salt . It also is a more dried out jerky variety - so if you prefer a softer jerky this is not it either . I think my next jerky purchase will be from one of the internet suppliers who market 100% grass fed jerky and advertise it as such .

Great Product
I bought these with the intention of passing them out at work, but after I tried some, now it's more of a "share with the coworkers." This is some really good jerky, and I got it at an untouchable price. Significantly less than store bought, and tastes great.
