Cholesterol Went WAY Up!
After two bottles, daily intake, and two new bottles unopened...
I had bloodwork done after finding out my cholesterol was 199, 9 months later. The doc wasn't worried with the 199 as much as other levels, but just the same, checked cholesterol again 9 months later.
It JUMPED to 241! My LDL's were much higher. I was obviously stunned, and wondered what could I have been doing so differently. Also, thought, "Hey, wait, I thought hemp oil was GREAT for Cholesterol as well as other things." So I began "hit the google."
Research told me that too much Omega 6 is NOT good and raises cholesterol. I went onto read that Americans get too much in their diets already, and that we need to, as many know, UP the Omega 3.
Nutiva Hemp Oil BOASTS about the HIGH Omega 6 ratio! Mystery solved for me and two new bottles went into the trash. (I checked...could not return..."food product.")
I am doing all the things in the book called Cholesterol Down (well most) and am SURE that in a few months, that and NO MORE HEMP Oil...the doc will be amazed at how low my cholesterol will be. You might say, "Well of course, the book," but what is key here is the jump in the first place with NO other changes other than added so much Hemp to my diet.
Hemp seed too. I enjoyed them (forgot to mention I was eating them daily a tablespoon or so on yogurt, oatmeal or salad AFTER checking with Nutiva first if that would be ok) but they too went in the trash as they too are high in Omega 6.
Sorry to leave such a bad review, but 42 point jump? How could I not be truthful.

Delicious
Great nutty flavor. And it's good for you. You can't beat that.
Only wish that it could be produced in the US, then it would be cheaper and more plentiful.

Great product!!!
It has a nutty taste as most articles have related, maybe those who cannot tolerate the taste are just genetically predisposed to not like it?? Whats not to like with all the INCREDIBLE benefits of this oil - omega 3, 6, and 9, GLA, most suitably balanced for human consumption...... the list goes on...
