Excellent Product
I use this delicious product in place of shortening and oil. It is wonderful to put the amount needed in the refrigerator, so it solidifies. Then I cut it into the flour like shortening. I do this to make homemade Bisquick that is way better tasting and very inexpensive to make compared to the store brand Bisquick, which has trans fats in it to keep it shelf stable. I store the homemade Bisquick in the fridge for up to four months and use it to make all sorts of delicious things.
I also melt it to use like oil. I notice that stir frying vegetables works way better with the coconut oil than canola oil. The canola oil would become sticky. This stays oily and adds a delicious and subtle flavor to everything I use it in.
I highly recommend this delicious product.

Good product - the 54 oz is a better deal!
Amazon stopped doing the 54 oz version (out of stock for a really long time....) and so I was forced to get the smaller jars. The 54 oz was a better deal but as for the product it is a really good coconut oil (and believe me I've tried many). It has a very light coconut taste and aroma. Great for cooking and baking and so good for you. Can 1-for-1 replace butter in most recipes. Yummy!

Good Stuff
This is a great product! Nutiva is the brand I prefer and Amazon offers a great price. I love to put this in my Nutiva Hemp Shake and cook with it. Coconut oil has so many great health properties! I even use it as lotion and make brown sugar body scrub with it. It soaks right into the skin and leaves it so soft.
